A group of reactive, noninfectious autoinflammatory diseases, neutrophilic dermatoses (NDs) are characterized by infiltration of the epidermis, dermis, and/or hypodermis by neutrophils. There could also be potential extracutaneous involvement, making this condition sometimes difficult to diagnose and treat. In this session, attendees will look at challenging case studies of NDs that present with unusual clinical symptoms and atypical laboratory findings.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe typical and atypical dermatologic presentations of common neutrophilic dermatoses
  • Discuss underlying disease associations related to various neutrophilic dermatoses
  • Review clinical and histopathologic diagnostic criteria of various neutrophilic dermatoses
  • Identify various treatment strategies for neutrophilic dermatoses and their underlying associations
