Dr. Vineet Mishra is the founder of Restoration Dermatology and a board certified dermatologist, fellowship-trained Mohs surgeon and cosmetic dermatologist, as well as board certified venous disease specialist who was born and raised in Nashville. He attended Vanderbilt University where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor’s of Science in Neuroscience from Vanderbilt University College of Arts and Science. He completed his medical education at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, internship at Emory University, dermatology residency at the University of Alabama – Birmingham, and procedural dermatology fellowship at Scripps Clinic in San Diego, California under Dr. Hugh Greenway. From 2013 until 2018, he was Associate Professor of Dermatology and Director of Mohs and Procedural Dermatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center – San Antonio. In 2018, he was recruited back to the Scripps Clinic in San Diego, California as faculty for the Micrographic Surgery & Dermatologic Oncology fellowship and practiced in both the Division of Dermatology and Mohs Surgery and the Division of Vascular Surgery. Also, since 2018, he remains on faculty as Adjunct Associate Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California – San Diego.

His interests and expertise include Mohs surgery, laser medicine, cosmetic dermatology, and venous disease. He is an active member of the American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, American Vein and Lymphatic Society, and American Academy of Dermatology.
